Last week Bobbette, Janice, Mindy & Caitlin attended the IMT Computer Services Co. Customer Meeting in West Des Moines, Iowa. The girls learned how to effectively use new features of the computer system, networked with other Mutuals, and participated in informative meetings.

Stop in from 10 AM – 2PM to see the newly renovated office, meet the Board and Staff members, grab a hamburger or hot dog, ask questions, win prizes and much more! Last Friday our Board of Directors presented the annual scholarship winners with their reward. We want to congratulate Taylor Bradshaw and Harmon Kreuger for being selected this year’s Lincoln County Farmers Mutual Insurance Scholarship recipients. Both individuals will receive a $500 scholarship to be used in their studies after High School. Taylor Bradshaw is one of our 2019 Lincoln County Farmers Mutual Insurance Company Scholarship recipients. Taylor recently graduated from Troy Buchanan High School. This fall, she plans to attend Truman State University to study Biology then later attend medical school. Taylor dreams of becoming a Psychiatrist so that she can continue to pursue her passion of helping others. Meet…

Did you know that the number of kitchen fires increase during the winter season? Here are some tips to help prevent kitchen fires in your home: 1. Never leave the kitchen unattended when cooking. 2. Make sure to keep flammable items far away from the stovetop, for example: hot pads and kitchen towels. 3. Never use the oven as a heat source. 4. Set a timer when cooking food in the oven. 5. When you are finished cooking double check that everything is off, like burners and the oven.
