Mulching

Protect exposed tree roots by mulching around the root area. A 2 – 4 inch layer of mulch protects the roots and creates a good growing environment.
It’s common to plant grass all the way up against the tree trunk, but when that happens the grass and tree compete for water and nutrients. A mulch layer creates an optimal healthy growing environment for the tree!
