Meet Jill Dunavant: A Multi-Talented Gem at Lincoln County Farmers Mutual Insurance Company

In the heart of Troy, Missouri, resides a remarkable individual who wears multiple hats at Lincoln County Farmers Mutual Insurance Company (LCFMI). Jill Dunavant, a familiar face in the community for 17 years, brings a wealth of experience and a vibrant personality to our amazing insurance team.

Jill’s journey in Missouri began at the tender age of four, making her a true local with a diverse background. Born in Texas and spending two years in Germany as the daughter of an Army family, Jill has seamlessly integrated into the fabric of the Show-Me State.

For the past two years, Jill has been an invaluable asset to LCFMI, navigating through various roles, including Customer Service Rep., Inspections Coordinator, and Claims Processor. Her versatility is not just confined to the insurance industry, as Jill’s career path is a patchwork of experiences, from flipping houses with her parents as a teenager to working in food service, customer service in the health insurance industry, marketing, event planning, and even donning the hat of a Realtor.

Family is a cornerstone of Jill’s life. She and her husband, Nathan, have celebrated 21 years of marriage. Their family includes three wonderful kids – Judy, Aidan, and Natalie. As she reflects on her lineage, Jill proudly shares her Irish roots, with great-grandparents who journeyed to the United States from Ireland. Fun fact: one of her great-grandfathers even rode with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show, adding a touch of Wild West flair to her family history.

Away from the bustling world of insurance and familial duties, Jill finds extra joy in her two canine companions. Murphy, a wise 10-year-old chocolate lab/golden retriever mix, and Loki, a playful 5-year-old Siberian Husky, bring an extra layer of warmth and companionship to the Dunavant household.

Despite her many responsibilities, Jill still finds time for creative pursuits. A passionate quilter, she channels her artistic flair into crafting beautiful baby quilts and preserving memories in t-shirt quilts.
